My friends...Hummer never lead anyone to believe the H2 is anything more than a glorified Chevrolet with a Hummer look, they don't pretend to tell anyone that it's for service duty off road on anything more than an unpaved road. The only thing I see wrong here is that someone is driving their H2 in the desert wear it doesn't belong. In addition, let's be honest...ANY vehicle can stuck at some point or another...even an H1, Land Cruiser and believe it or not even a military tank!

I actually think that Hummer even realizes what you're stating...along with the overwhelming majority of people that purchase them...what should be criticized here is the moron who brought the H2 into the desert! Petrol/Gas = $120 a barrel. Peak Oil means that will be seen as dirt cheap. Soon no one in any state of mind would buy a Hummer. Already no one in their right mind buys Hummers/other supersize SUVs. Save the Oil for what we really need it for = decades/centuries of air travel, big mining, agriculture, shipping...oh yes and for the military too. And go to work/supermarket/football by public transport/electric car/bicycle/foot. Save the world - it's no idle slogan...
